The Top 5 resolutions for 2020

At the start of this year, the Jean Lapointe Foundation wishes for all of your 2020 dreams to come true. On this occasion, the 28 Day Challenge team offers 5 resolutions to help you achieve your goals for the year! 😊

  • Reduce alcohol consumption

 

Nothing better than a month without alcohol to become aware of your consumption habits, and this is one of the objectives of the 28-day Challenge! 😊 Whether it’s a small amount or a large one, when you become aware of your consumption frequency, it becomes easier to detach and reduce it. Know that no matter how much you decide to decrease it, there will be a benefit to you!

  • Increase physical activity

 

Consistently missed workouts at the gym are a fact of life for many people. Remember that there are lots of alternatives for all levels of physical ability. Have you thought about more stimulating options like CrossFit, aerobic dance, group lessons, or joining an amateur sports league?

  • Pay it forward

 

Many events require the support of numerous volunteers. Take a look at where your involvement could have the greatest impact in your community and schedule a few hours to give back to a cause you care about. Why not come volunteer at one of the Fondation Jean Lapointe events? We’d love to have you!

  • Eat better

 

Eating a healthy and balanced diet does not necessarily mean completely changing your habits. You can start making a shift by taking a day to prepare nutritious dishes. The main thing is not to change your lifestyle too drastically, so as not to fall back into your old habits at the slightest setback. Remember that by reducing your alcohol consumption, you are also reducing the empty calories that you metabolize.

  • Travel

 

This is one of the most rewarding activities you can do! Discovering the world and exploring new settings are what most people dream about. Use the money you save due to your reduced alcohol consumption to plan your next road trip.
